2006 We decided to produce a website that would help everyone, who was interested, track our progress
around this globe. The O's are now living on the beautiful island of Guam. We arrived on the island June
9th after 5 exciting days in Tokyo. Our first week on the island was spent at the relaxing Pacific Islands
Resort on Tumon Bay. We enjoyed the pool, water slides, and the beach while we were there. We all did
some snorkeling on the first day and we were amazed at the number of fish we could see in just 2 feet of water.
We are now in our home on Andersen Air Force Base.
Happy December! We are excited to be spending our first
Christmas on Guam relaxing in the beautiful tropical weather. We are trying to decide if we want to spend Christmas
day at the beach or at the Hyatt pool downtown.
Since leaving Las Vegas we have learned to slow down and relax just as the saying
goes, "Hafa Adai" which means "Hello, good day". We have to laugh and remember that when we are in a hurry and things
are moving slowly work is done "half-a-day" and we'll "finish the rest Chamorro" (tomorrow). The Chamorro people
are the locals here on Guam. It's true that no one seems to be in a hurry on the island unless they are driving to get
somewhere.
